After spending three years in a darkroom during my photography degree, I headed off in search of colour and sunlight - and didn't come back home for nearly ten years.
My work, studies and wanderlust took me across Spain, Portugal, Latin America, Africa and the Caribbean. On the road, my storytelling took on various formats: photography, writing, painting and graphic design.
I have created written and visual content for organisations including Uganda Wildlife Authority, USAID, Forest Peoples Programme, the Ecuadorian Ministry of Tourism, Compass Children's Charity and AfriKids Ghana, and my articles have been published by The Sunday Times, The i News, The Local and One Green Planet.
As editor at the activist travel company, Responsible Travel, I wrote, edited and and commissioned a series of over 500 online travel guides .
I now work for Forest Peoples Programme and am based in Medellin, Colombia. You can read my travel stories on my blog.
