Ghana
In 2015, I was invited to Ghana by the British-Ghanaian NGO, AfriKids, which works with children in the far north of the country. I met musicians, dancers, painters and potters, as well as tribal chiefs and fishermen. Throughout the time I was there, the dusty harmattan wind blew down from the Sahara Desert, grounding flights, drying out my skin and giving the whole country a strangely hazy aura.
